Annual Fund Campaign
At St. Ignatius, we shine His Light and find Hope in our shared faith. The “His Light, Our Hope” Annual Fund Campaign is essential for sustaining our ministries and daily operations.
Through joyful giving, we sustain the life of our parish, supporting worship, ministries, outreach, and the spiritual growth of our community. We give joyfully of ourselves to God, who has blessed us abundantly.
Did you know that the biblical definition of a tithe is 10% of your income? Tithing is mentioned throughout scripture, the first being in Genesis when Abram tithed to Melchizidek. “And blessed be God Most High Who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him a tithe of all.” Genesis 14:20. We are thankful for those who are already tithing or are on the journey toward reaching this important goal.
While this may not be possible for everyone, we encourage all parishioners to give proportionally, offering a meaningful portion of their income with a spirit of gratitude. Every gift makes a difference.
We invite you to prayerfully determine your pledge for 2025 using these guidelines:
- If you contributed last year, consider using that as a starting point.
- If your circumstances have changed, you may need to adjust your pledge downwards, or, with a heart of gratitude, you may be able to contribute even more than last year.
As a parish, our collective giving should reflect, in equal measure, the blessings of God’s provision and love for us.

- Make Your Pledge: Your pledge helps us forecast contributions and make sound financial decisions. Your pledge remains confidential, and you may adjust it as needed. The treasurer will send a friendly reminder before year-end to track your progress.
- Take the Time & Talents Survey: This short survey matches your skills and interests with ministries. It assists our ministry leaders in connecting with willing volunteers.
- Set Up Online Giving: Donate online. Set up weekly, monthly, or annual automatic payments from your bank account.

FAQs
Q. Why is St. Ignatius implementing this pledge process now when it hasn’t been done before?
A. St. Ignatius has always been a generous community and remains in a strong financial position. However, understanding our potential annual giving will enable us to make informed decisions regarding staff positions, operational needs, ministry initiatives, benevolence efforts, and facility maintenance. This proactive approach ensures we can continue to serve our community effectively and sustainably.
Q. I’m already tithing. Should I participate in this pledge?
A. Absolutely! If you are already a tithing member, we encourage you to participate by estimating your anticipated tithe for the calendar year (Jan. 1- Dec. 31st, 2025.) If you have already started giving, your January gifts would be included in the annual estimate.This information will assist our leadership in making informed financial decisions.
Q. Who will know about my pledge?
A. Your pledge details will remain confidential and will only be accessible to our Church Treasurer, Randy Elliott, and our Director of Operations, Christi Barr. They will oversee the amount pledged and monitor your giving status throughout the year.
Q. I have irregular income. How can I make a pledge if my income varies?
A. If you have irregular income, we suggest basing your pledge on the lower end of your estimated annual earnings. This way, you can adjust your contributions as circumstances change. Think of your pledged amount as your best estimate, and feel free to give more or less as God provides.
Q. What if I can’t fulfill my intended contribution?
A. All pledges are made with the understanding of God’s provision. If you find that you are unable to meet your pledged amount, there is no need to worry. You will receive occasional updates on your pledge progress, but there will be no consequence if you cannot complete your pledge as you expected.
